Our services include domestic scrap removal, fridge and freezer disposal (fee applies), and man with a van assistance. We accept a wide range of scrap metal, including iron & steel, brass & copper, bronze & lead, aluminium, damaged alloy wheels, car batteries & leisure batteries, air conditioning units, and car parts & appliances (fridges & freezers for a fee).

Trading Paynes collected an unwanted metal frame and did not charge. This was very helpful as we could not move it and he was able to cut it up and remove to dispose of responsibly.

I needed to get rid of a lot of scrap metal from a property I had inherited. I contacted Mr Payne who was very helpful in arranging a collection and took everything away for free. This was a really good service at a stressful time for myself. I would certainly recommend him or use again if the need arose.

Trading Paynes has been assisting our business with second use and authorised disposal of waste from our site for almost 5 years now. Mostly for scrap metal, plastic storage containers and various items that may have a scrap value.
Andy has been fantastic, loyal and accommodating in our requests whilst ensuring we have the required Duty of Care Waste Transfer Notes an often offering our waste a second use elsewhere and recycling some of our waste where possible.
Naturally due to the nature of a one man show some time schedules cannot be met but we always have a prompt communication and confirmation of what can be achieved.

This was the second attempt at finding someone to collect some scrap metal. Contacted Trading Paynes by email, a couple of days later he asked for my address, then a few days later turned up to collect the items, no problem. Very straightforward.

The two men were friendly and professional. The job was not an easy one with getting an old boiler out of the cellar. They cut it up to be able to fit it out the cellar door. The cost was less than what was originally quoted.
