The lock broke on one of our uPVC doors. I rang A1 and Arron came the same day. He then ordered a new lock, and it was fitted as soon as it came in. The door had dropped so adjustments were required, but Arron did everything very quickly and for a good price. Definitely get Arron back if we had any other locksmith issues

I recently moved house and wanted all the external locks changed. Aaron from A1 was recommended to me by my new neighbours and I was very pleased that they did. He arrived on time, was polite and knowledgeable, changing my locks and mechanisms with ease. Very reasonable price for an excellent service. No hesitation in recommending A1 for any locksmith business. He is also a carpenter and I hope to use his services for some further work I require.

Attended 8.30am next day. The door was opened and a complicated lock was replaced and job completed within one hour.

Aaron fitted a lock for us at very short notice...my Auntie needed a keys are fitting a few days before she was coming out from hospital. I called Aaron and he fitted it the same day! Absolutely fantastic service and so helpful. I highly recommend his services.

We had internal doors fitted by Arron he is so friendly and efficient and I can't praise him highly enough,I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to have new doors fitted.

I was at home with my young son Saturday afternoon when our front door lock mechanism jammed. I found A1 on google search and called them at 3pm. They answered the phone quickly and were very helpful. By 4pm they had got to my home diagnosed the issue and resolved this.
I can not recommend them more highly, thoroughly friendly, honest and great value for money service. Thank you for your assistance with our door!

Open lock to failed lock mechanism on front door.
Supply and fit replacement centre gearbox and new handles.
Re-fit mechanism and adjust locking points as necessary.
All of the above was done by Arron of AI Carpentry and Locksmith. He was friendly but also very professional and soon got the job done. I will be using him again.

I contacted Arron via the form on the website and received a response within a few hours. I didn’t have an exact date and time planned when I made my enquiry, but Arron kept in touch and we arranged a mutually convenient appointment. The service and price were excellent and I would definitely recommend Arron’s services.

Very high degree of woodworking craftsmanship and exceptional customer care displayed by Arron in fitting 2no mortice deadlocks to doors one of which was grade 11 listed Georgian requiring particular care and skill.
All at short notice and reasonable cost.

Arron had my kitchen removed and a new Howdens kitchen installed.
He organised all of the delivery and other traders such and electricians and plumbers. Made the process entirely stress free especially as I was away on holiday whilst all the work was completed.
I arrived back to a completed new kitchen that was installed and finished perfectly. He was even able to organise and get extras installed such and flooring and tiling.
Arron was patient and detailed throughout the whole process with a great attention to detail. He was even able to resolve a problem with the wrong units being delivered within an hour.
I was able to call and message him at anytime of day and receive a response instantly.
I would very highly recommend A1 Carpentry and Locksmith to anyone looking to get a new kitchen installed.

We had a large kitchen re-fitted with A1 Carpentry, including extensive plumbing, heating and electrical work. The friendly, professional and well-organised approach made a long and challenging re-fit pass by with minimal disruption. Communication was clear and regular on anything as needed which helped the work flow smoothly. All those involved completed all the work to a high standard and were flexible to work around with the demands of the job.
