One gearbox replaced in french door due to not locking. Aaron came round to have a look to identify the problem first. Went away to order a new gearbox and fitted within a few days.

The lock was replaced on patio door when the key snapped off inside the lock. Very swift same day service. Friendly and professional and everything was checked such as how the door was hanging and ensuring locking mechanism was all lined up. Price was very reasonable with only the essential repair carried out and no hard sell of unnecessary work. Highly recommended.

I had the locks changed on my new house for security and Arron was very prompt and efficient in doing so which was much appreciated. All locks left in perfect working order.
On the carpentry side, Arron built the framework for a new chimney breast and arranged for that to be plastered, all of which was excellent and exactly to my specifications. He is very knowledgeable and trustworthy, always ready to adaptor amend to his customer’s satisfaction.
Everything left clean and tidy on completion and I would have no hesitation in using his services again for ongoing projects.

My elderly mother’s lock had broke on her old uPVC door. She called Arron who came round straightaway. He said that the door was probably one of the first uPVC doors and he didn’t have one of those locks on the van but he could make one up but unfortunately he was off on holiday the next day. Because he was so genuine we said we’d wait until he was back and true to his word the day after he came back from holiday he came round took some more measurements and the following day it was all done. A really reliable and trustworthy guy.

The lock broke on one of our uPVC doors. I rang A1 and Arron came the same day. He then ordered a new lock, and it was fitted as soon as it came in. The door had dropped so adjustments were required, but Arron did everything very quickly and for a good price. Definitely get Arron back if we had any other locksmith issues

I recently moved house and wanted all the external locks changed. Aaron from A1 was recommended to me by my new neighbours and I was very pleased that they did. He arrived on time, was polite and knowledgeable, changing my locks and mechanisms with ease. Very reasonable price for an excellent service. No hesitation in recommending A1 for any locksmith business. He is also a carpenter and I hope to use his services for some further work I require.

Attended 8.30am next day. The door was opened and a complicated lock was replaced and job completed within one hour.

Aaron fitted a lock for us at very short notice...my Auntie needed a keys are fitting a few days before she was coming out from hospital. I called Aaron and he fitted it the same day! Absolutely fantastic service and so helpful. I highly recommend his services.

I was at home with my young son Saturday afternoon when our front door lock mechanism jammed. I found A1 on google search and called them at 3pm. They answered the phone quickly and were very helpful. By 4pm they had got to my home diagnosed the issue and resolved this.
I can not recommend them more highly, thoroughly friendly, honest and great value for money service. Thank you for your assistance with our door!
