Our services include domestic scrap removal, fridge and freezer disposal (fee applies), and man with a van assistance. We accept a wide range of scrap metal, including iron & steel, brass & copper, bronze & lead, aluminium, damaged alloy wheels, car batteries & leisure batteries, air conditioning units, and car parts & appliances (fridges & freezers for a fee).

I was not aware of this trader but 2 days ago they visited the road address for either a collection or delivery. As I had items to be disposed of I approached them, they handed me a business card and asked me to book a collection. Within 48 hours collection was made. 1st class service.

I contacted Trading Paynes to dispose of an old washing machine and tumble dryer as they were not suitable to pass on to a charity. Trading Paynes offered a free collection and disposal service and most importantly had the necessary license to dispose of these items. I had an immediate reply to my enquiry, confirmed a suitable a date and the items were removed from my property as agreed. I would definitely recommend this company.

I texted Trading Paynes about collecting an old electric cooker. I received a reply within an hour to say when they would pick it up. A team member turned up exactly as they stated in the text. Arrived on time and cooker was gone in 5 minutes and all for free. Can't fault their service.

Andy, who runs this company, arrived in the dark with a suitably bright lamp and efficient cutting tools to dismantle a long, heavy metal support. He proved trustworthy as his signage on his truck suggested his reliability; his speech later also conveyed an honest, checkable past. No money was involved.

This was the first time I have used this trader. The task was the free collection and disposal of scrap metal. I found him well presented, well spoken, polite and punctual. He completed the job efficiently and in doing so demonstrated his integrity, honesty, trustworthiness and that he is willing to go that extra mile.
Inadvertently, within the scrap I left a new expensive battery electric drill. Its value far greater that that of the scrap. This was found when he unloaded the van. He phoned and informed me that he had found it and went out of his way to return it at his own expense.
