Pete Strutton and colleagues replaced the sole plate, treated and lime plastered to repair my period cottage. This was completed very professionally, using traditional materials and with a very high standard of craftsmanship. The quality of finish is high and appropriate to the 450 year old property, with minimal disturbance internally. Strongly recommend.

We employed Peter Strutton to remove 1970's render, replace rotten timbers and render in Lime Plaster on our Grade II listed cottage.
The work was completed on time and within budget. Always with a smile.

When the sole plate of our 16th century house crumbled we needed an expert restorer. The whole rear wall of the house was replaced on a new sole plate. Strutton Preservation were efficient, friendly, helpful and professional. The job was completed in the agreed timescale and the cost was very reasonable. I have no hesitation in recommending Strutton Preservation.

Good to find someone with the skills to repair an old timber framed cottage. Whole sole plate needed replacing and wall lime plastered using traditional methods. Very detailed work. It was restored to "new", as it was built in 18th century. Mr Strutton left the property in a very neat and tidy condition. All rubble cleared away. Delighted with work done.
