RJ Insulation

Had the loft re-insulated and the flooring completely boarded.
Had major building work done about 9yrs ago. The loft was one of the major refurbishment, as the chimney was removed. But what we ended up with was bare brickwork and half the floor had boards down.
Fast forward to the present day....
I contacted RJ Insulation through an advertisement on Facebook, after I did some homework about the company. They contacted me soon after to have a general discussion of what we (wife and i) wanted. An assessor came to the house and measured the loft space as well as discuss options.
We went for for re-insulate to modern specifications and with updated flooring and 4 storage cupboards. A few days later...a quote was emailed as well as a phone call from one of their "go to, to organise how to go forward ".
I liked the quote, even though I could not afford there and then at the time. So I went to get a loan to pay for the job to be done. Date and time was then agreed on start of the Project. And how long it would take.
A team of 2 turned up...as stated. [Day and time]. They clarified on what the project was all about and then laid down dust sheets on the stairs.
They worked very diligently and was always polite and asked to use the toilet and also asked when they wanted a hot drink.
End of each day...they tidied after themselves, before leaving. Any concerns in the loft, the "boss" of the team would call for my presence and we discuss the issues.
Every now and then I would get asked to look in the loft space. [I felt it was more like an inspection, by me. As well as a progress update].
A few things were pointed out to me which were rectified as soon as it could be rectified. So much so....the project over run by 1 day. But that was probably due to being 1 team member down till day 3 or 4 out of the eventual 6 days.
The team also managed to put in a strip light for me as I had a low powered bulb. Electrics...the team also sorted out. Had a socket up in the loft...."floating around"....now it is in situ on the Insulation on one of the Gable Ends.
Wife and I are very happy.
Also to add ....we had a day of continuous rain and as they had to go back and Forth to their van , plus have "fresh air " breaks....they laid boards on my carpets to protect them from getting wet and....dirty.
The Team was very polite ; and I would recommend them to see to anyone's house.

We had our loft insulated with SuperFOIL and had boarding added to create a warm & dry storage space inside the house. The team did an excellent job and transformed our loft in a single day. We are very happy with the outcome. Now we have extra space in the house and hope to gradually save on heating costs over the years.
