Vince is a great guy. Initially recommended to us for a small tiling job in our new kitchen he has also rehung a door and reglazed another. He turns up as promised ,does the job to a professional standard and tidies up after himself. He will definitely be my go to guy for work around the house.

Vince is very reliable in all aspects of his work. I have used his services a few times and always have been satisfied. I have recommended him to 2 other people and they too have been please with his work.

We have been using Vince Tanner Property Maintenance for many years (since 2011). Most recently he replaced a collapsed fence and provided new posts, panels and a gate. In the past he has also installed a new shower-room / bathroom, updated a kitchen, painted hall stairs and landing, also installing laminate flooring, and renovated a study. Vince Tanner is very reliable and amenable to achieving works that we as the customer require. Nothing is too much trouble and presented with a problem he will take the time to think about it before returning with a solution. His standard of work is always of good quality and he is a pleasure to have working in the house.

Tricky job of a door not closing on a v large integral fridge. Vince had a good initial diagnostic visit where alternatives were fully explored. The remedy involved removing the whole fridge {not easy}, lining the supporting plinth & fitting new hinges. An awkward yet v successful job undertaken with great professionalism.

Old hatch removed and space altered for new kit.

Sink plug replaced with pop-up

Cannot fault Vince's work ethics. He went out of his way to explain the plans and how the work would proceed. Excellent aftercare with guidance on how the newly-fitted items worked, leaving the property spotless. :)

Cost £545 but I gave a cheque for £570 Very impressed with Vince I feel really happy to have him working in my home. He is friendly, hard-working and skilful. My timber wall panelling needed to be cut and extra pieces inserted he went to a lot of trouble to ensure it all fitted perfectly.
I am really pleased with the result.

Wooden garden gate. Design and workmanship excellent. Kept to time. Everything left clean and tidy. Had previously used Vince and was extremely satisfied.

Repair to balcony- cutting down and repairing railings. Replacing top headrail with more appropriate materials. Vince was excellent. Due to the pandemic, it had been difficult scheduling the work but as soon as he had set a date he turned up promptly. Did an excellent job with high standard materials and was quick, quiet, and efficient. The extra painting on the surround to the balcony without being asked and at no extra cost.

Trace and fix leaky pipe in utility room. Fix new connector. Make good ceiling box in pipework. Tile window sill. Create splash back behind sink. Paint new woodwork. Remove waste materials. Responded promptly to enquiry. Arrived to do work on time.

Explained what he was doing. Left all clean and tidy.

Serval odd jobs around the house. Including quite tricky ones. Replacement toilet seats, putting up shelves.

Put up TV bracket etc etc. Very pleased with Vince, professional, reliable and friendly.

Fitted a replacement bannister, rehung door and repaired door Excellent service. High quality work.

Replace sub-flooring to two landings and rectified creeking staircases. Vince was a brilliant contractor.

Communications via email good, works started on agreed date works completed to very good standard and fixed all at creeking floor/stair problems.

Very happy will definitely use again for all future works.

General Building Work Vince was very punctual and professional and did everything we wanted. Absolute godsend!! Can't speak highly enough of him!

To dismantle old canopy and clear site. supply all new materials erect new copy with front and born type door and new clear roof with guttering A very fair price for all the work done, Vince was very helpfull nothing was to much trouble and very friendly and reliable

Vince has done lots of jobs for us ranging from repairing doors to gutting a room and refurbishing with insulation and new radiator and fixings. Vince is always kind and courteous. He is meticulous in his work and offers creative solutions to problems such as an old door. lock which he repaired when others have said it wasn't possible. I always get what I ask for with Vince he explains how he will do the job and does it exactly.
