New oil tank

Install a new slimline tank on a new base. Add fireproof boards to the adjacent fence to protect the tank. Transfer oil from old tank and remove the tank for disposal. Divert oil pipe, reconnect and test. Arrange Building Control certificate. I am very pleased with my new tank and its installation. Mr Holmes is a very nice, polite chap and is obviously an expert in his field. A detailed written quote was provided and this compared very favourably with quotes from other companies. Now the job is completed I can not see how it could have been done any better so I feel the work represented good value.

Mr Holmes was very punctual and worked very hard to complete the job in a single day.

A new oil tank was supplied and fitted. New base laid and fire resistant panels fitted to existing fence. All work satisfactorily completed.

However it was subsequently learned that inspite of the quote stating that the tank would be carefully lifted into position it was pushed onto the concrete slabs. on looking at the base of the tank there appears to be some gouging on one corner which may have been there before it was placed into position. We would have no way of knowing having said this the installer was very considerate and cleared up behind him
